With the ongoing support of our coaches, many of our academic-competing students are accepted into prestigious universities like Yale, Harvard, Stanford, MIT, and Carnegie Mellon. Stellar GPA and SAT scores used to be sufficient, yet now students must be able to substantiate their emotional intelligence in conjunction with exceptional academic abilities. By engaging in academic competitions, students exude their ability to work collaboratively and affirm an aptitude for academic success.
Our expertise in guiding practice sessions enables students to secure a competitive edge against the competition by teaching them to master the delicate balance between response accuracy and time management within the allotted testing period. Practice makes perfect, and strategy secures scholarly success.
With the Tutoring Club’s flexibility and support of our highly-qualified tutors—ivy league students, college professors, research assistants, and scientists—students can overcome any academic challenge and become more well-rounded scholars with the courage to overcome any obstacle. Depending on a child’s individual learning needs, our tutors will strategically place them in either a small group, or provide one-on-one instruction. From algebra-1 to multivariable calculus, our tutors will help students navigate quizzes, homework, and tests, all while cultivating a newfound sense of confidence. We recognize conventional curriculums cater to the average student, leaving many behind. Our tutors personalize their teaching style for each student – whether they are struggling to keep up with the curriculum, or if they’re seeking more challenges to be exceptional.

When people ask me now how I can tackle extraordinarily difficult problems with enthusiasm and skill rather than fear and confusion, I credit many years with The Study Huddle. TSH equipped me with the skills to succeed at every step of the creative problem solving process. Every theorem was derived so students could gain a fundamental understanding of not just the what, but why. The excellent classes equipped me with numerous strategies in my mathematical toolkit. Access to stellar resources and practice problems gave me the mental agility and speed vital to succeeding in the competitive math world. However, nothing has helped me nearly as much as the people I met at TSH. Collaboration was not only encouraged, but necessary. I learned how to bounce ideas off of other people, communicate abstract ideas with clarity, and break down difficult concepts into understandable bites. These skills make me stand out as an aspiring engineer.
Growing up what I loved the most about The Study Huddle was the collaborative, supportive community I knew I would be surrounded by during every class. Throughout my time at TSH, I gained an abundance of critical problem-solving skills through countless practice problems. However, what I will always appreciate the most about TSH was the space it provided me to be able to work collaboratively with my peers as we worked through difficult competitive math problems together. At TSH, we were always encouraged to bounce ideas off of one another and teach and learn from one another which has been something that I have carried forward in all levels of my education. The community at TSH from fellow students to mentors and coaches was comprised of incredibly intelligent and kind individuals who fostered a positive learning environment where I learned invaluable communication skills that are now integral to my life. I can confidently say TSH played a large role in shaping me over the years and in getting to where I am currently at in my academic career.
